Winter Breaks With The Family
People can often believe that summers are for family holidays, when you can play on the beach and enjoy the sunshine, but winter holidays are also suitable for family holidays. Particularly if you can find the right destination to visit. There are some regions where winter is a miserable time, but out in the Norfolk country, you can see the beautiful crisp winter palette of greens and reds, which provide a stunning back drop to your winter holiday.
Norfolk has some of the most beautiful scenery in England, so you can choose the right holiday destination. There are wide open fields and amazing seaside views to enjoy, depending what type of location you enjoy best in winter. You can choose whether to stay in the middle of a village, or out in the middle of the countryside with miles of space to yourself.
In daytime, the whole family can enjoy traipsing through the fields and countryside around Norfolk, getting a healthy dose of fresh country air, and building up an appetite. If you’re out and about in a village, you can try a quaint pub lunch, and if you’re there on a Sunday, you can eat a roast dinner.
At night you can all get warm in a Norfolk holiday cottage, in front of a roaring fire, playing board games and enjoying some hot chocolate while it’s dark and cold outside.
Everyone’s families are different, from smaller families of 2 or 4, to those extended families of 8 or 10, so getting all of you together can be problematic if you don’t have a large holiday cottage or property to do that in.
Especially during winter, and the Christmas season, spending time with family is some of the most fun you can have, and having the space to invite everyone just makes it all the more special for everyone.
