Does anyone know much about lower abdominal pain?
For a little over a week I have had a slight strange pain on my right side first in lower abdominal area under belly button, now it’s higher up directly to the right of my belly button on my side. I thought maybe I pulled or strained a muscle, I have considered kidney stones, even tape worm. It sometimes feels like bad backed up gas, other times its just a gnawing pain that is there. Plus my stomach is growling on top of it even after I have eaten. I can’t seem to win with this one. Any ideas what this could be? As I am traveling through Asia right now so I don’t have the luxury of seeing a doctor.
not std, not constipation for sure. liver issue is a possibility only because I was taking Doxycycline but stopped after 1 week as I thought it could be causing my stomach pain and I wasn’t sure but thought my skin was a touch yellow.
It could be a lot of things. If its been going on for a week then its probably not an appendicitis as those typically will perforate within 2-3 days of symptoms starting and you would be really sick right now. It could be gallstones- especially if it gets worse after eating fatty foods, could be a kidney infection, kidney stones. Could be constipation, stomach/intestine infection, liver problems, if your a girl could be problems with your ovaries, an std. could be stomach ulcer. Without more specific symptoms/tests/being seen by a doctor tough to say.
